Seva in Ashram
Seva means ‘selfless service’. It is a way to open your heart and connect with the Divine in every moment. When service is done with love, the focus moves away from what you get and shifts toward the pure joy of giving.
By serving the needs of others, expectations melt away and all that remains is love. That’s living bhakti.
Our seva program offers you a chance to live in Bhakti Marga Ashram in Latvia (EU) for a period of 1 week and up to 1 month. Join us and experience life in the ashram fully.
Details
- Bhakti Seva duration: 1 week to 1 Month only for EU residents.
- Accomodation: €25 per night provides you with full-board with accommodation in a shared room (3 to 5 People) , free WiFi access and free laundry.
- Age: Everybody is welcomed to serve between the age of 18 and 60.
- Sangha: meet like-minded people, devotees and bhaktas and enjoy the ashram life with our community.
- Temple prayers: come, participate and learn more about our deities, daily rituals and the variety of Hindu festivals we host.
- OM Chanting: every Monday at 19:30.
- Mother Nature: take time for a beautiful walk or parikrama around the ashram.
- Inspirations: develop your own ideas about how to integrate and develop the spirit of love and care by serving others at home or during your daily life.
Satchidananda Vigraha Ramacandra Temple & Ashram
There are two buildings on the ashram premises. The first one is where the temple is situated as well as where other events such as lectures, courses, workhops and OM Chantings take place. Participants of the seva program will be accommodated in the building which is situated next to temple building.
